Oh my giddy aunt, these are good. Soft and gooey, possibly because I put too much oil in them.
Ingredients:
6 tbsps flour
4 tbsps sugar
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tbsp white vinegar
small pinch salt
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 table spoon plus a tsp oil
2 tsps vanilla essence
Mix dry ingredients together, then add liquid ingredients. Mix until well combined. If the mix is too thick, add a couple of splashes of “milk”. Bake at 180C/356F until the top is firm, about 15 mins.
Here you are, the sugar cookie recipe.
Cream margarine and sugar together, then add the vanilla. Sift flour with salt. Add gradually to the margarine/sugar mix. If the dough is too thick, add a couple of splashes of non-dairy milk (I used oat milk, but whatever you prefer). Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour. Divide into 2 balls, and roll out till thin on a floured work surface. Cut shapes and place on a well oiled baking tray. Bake for 8-12 minutes at 180 degrees celsius or 360 degrees fahrenheit until lightly browned
